Slough in Bloom ’26 Launches: Bringing Vibrant Colour and Community Spirit Back
SLOUGH, UK – 5th May 2026 The cherished community tradition, Slough in Bloom, is back for 2026, aiming to transform the town with vibrant colours and sustainable green spaces. Under new leadership, this year’s competition invites all residents, schools, and local businesses to participate in cultivating a greener, brighter environment.
Our Mayor, Siobhan Dauti, joined us at our launch in the park and shared our commitment to improving Slough.
Phil Vance, the newly appointed Chairman of Slough in Bloom, expressed his excitement for the upcoming season.
“I am absolutely delighted to be bringing Slough in Bloom to the residents of Slough for 2026,” said Vance. “Our goal is to foster community pride through horticulture, brightening our streets and neighbourhoods. I wish every entrant a wonderful and rewarding growing season, and I cannot wait to see how our community brings colour to Slough.”
This year’s campaign encourages creative, eco-friendly gardening that not only boosts aesthetic appeal but also supports local biodiversity.

4 Business/Commercial/Hospital
5 Student Project
6 Public house/Restaurant/Hotel
7 Best Allotment
8 Best Allotment Newcomer
9 Environmental Project
Residents, community groups, and businesses are encouraged to begin planning their displays.
